Participation in the exhibition A "Hiruki", a collective reflection on the forms of realism in contemporary painting, open to the public until March 7.

Hiruki  is a group exhibition currently on view at the Okendo Exhibition Hall in San Sebastián. I am participating in the exhibition with my work, which is presented within a collective framework that brings together different artistic approaches. The exhibition creates a dialogue between the works, exploring relationships between space, materiality and perception. Hiruki  is open to the public until 7 March 2026  at Okendo Exhibition Hall, San Sebastián.

I’m currently in the sanding stage of this piece, and I wanted to share why this step is so important to me. After looking closely at the work, I decided to mattify it: the shine, while attractive, would interfere with how I want the details and textures to be perceived.
